Why Give?
In 2010, Arizona lawmakers permanently cut funding for full-day kindergarten.
To continue to prepare our kindergarten scholars for success in the later grades, CASA must raise more than $125,000 each year to make up for the deficit in funding from the State of Arizona. Your donations help us continue to provide a rigorous, tuition-free, full-day kindergarten program.
CASA Academy is giving young children a strong start on the road to college. In Arizona, 22% of high school students don’t graduate from high school and of those who do, less than half go on to attend a 2- or 4-year college. CASA’s rigorous academic approach is designed to advance scholars by more than one academic year at a time, setting our scholars on the path to college from a young age.
According to Arizona State University, Arizona has the lowest teacher salaries in the nation. At CASA Academy, we know that excellent teachers are key to dramatically increasing student achievement. We are committed to providing our teachers with competitive salaries and professional development to attract the very best teachers in the country to join our mission.
Donate today and help us retain excellent teachers committed to CASA’s mission.
