Special Education

CASA Academy is passionate about serving all scholars, including those with learning differences. Special Education at CASA Academy is based on an inclusion model. This means special education scholars take the same academic classes and are held to the same academic expectations as other scholars, although instruction may be tailored to meet their individual needs.

Scholars with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) are given support according to their needs, which could include additional in-class support, out-of-class support, accommodations, or modifications to enable them to meet CASA’s academic expectations. Educators collaborate in and out of the classroom to provide every scholar with differentiated instruction.

CASA Academy works with contracted service providers to meet the needs listed on each scholar’s IEP for academics, speech, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, as necessary.
